ANNUAL MANAGEMENT CONVENTION 2009
The 2009 Annual Management Conference was held on October 17, 2009 in Regina, SK at the Hotel Saskatchewan Radisson Plaza.
The event kicked off this year with the Annual General Meeting, followed by the Driver Appreciation Luncheon. We were very honoured to have football legend George Reed as the key note speaker.

AWARD PRESENTATIONS
VOLVO TRUCKS CANADA DRIVER OF THE YEAR
This year’s recipient, Len Baumgartner of Reimer Express Lines Ltd., has amassed a 33 year accident free driving record! Len started out on the loading dock in 1968 and began driving about six years later.

SHAW TRACKING SERVICE TO INDUSTRY AWARD
This year’s recipient, Sterling Hornoi, has been a fixture in truck transport for more than 50 years. Ever the entrepreneur, Sterling drove a semi-trailer transport from 1959 – 1965 before venturing into the used-truck business and eventually establishing Sterling Truck and Trailer Sales that continues to operate and expand.
