Canadian Border Restrictions Extended Until at Least Sept 30

(TORONTO, June 30, 2022) -- the Government of Canada announced the extension of its border restrictions until at least September 30, including the mandatory vaccination requirement at the land border for all travellers entering the country, including truck drivers crossing the border.

This decision comes after an announcement in June pausing mandatory vaccination requirements for most domestic and international air travellers, as well as the suspension of the mandatory vaccination requirement for employers in the federally regulated air, rail, and marine sectors.

CTA is reminding members that all travellers, including truck drivers, must continue to use ArriveCAN (free mobile app or website) to provide mandatory travel information within 72 hours before their arrival in Canada.
